Ulsan-si, promotes AI-based ship logistics platform demonstration project

Ulsan City announced on the 9th that it will promote the project in earnest after being selected as an "artificial intelligence-based heavy cargo mobile logistics platform demonstration project" organized by the Information and Communication Industry Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Science and ICT.

Under the supervision of the city and Ulsan Information Industry Promotion Agency, a total of 15 organizations and companies, including Hyundai Heavy Industries, POSCO, Ilshin Shipping, Pohang University of Technology, Korea Maritime University, Small and Medium Shipbuilding Research Institute, Hyundai Global Service Global Digital Center, Ship Wireless, San Engineering, Global GTI, Orion Technology, Cedronics, and Avicus, will form a consortium to participate in the project.

The project will be carried out for four years from this year to 2024 with a budget of 43 billion won.
